Ribbon Ridge is the ultimate vacation spot, nestled in hills that are home to sparkling rivers, big trees and high bluffs. Our rustic log cabin sits on a peaceful knoll overlooking verdant pastures and hardwood forest.
Soak up the serenity of Ribbon Ridge Farm in an area little changed in the last 50 years. Explore miles of quiet roads and trails for hiking, mountain biking or horseback riding. Many of the homesteads you will see are from an age gone by when the pace of life was slower and the front porch was widely used for evening social calls and after work relaxation. If our big, screened porch starts reminisces about grandma and grandpa’s favorite stories, we won’t be surprised. It evokes that kind of happy memories. We take our name from the old Ribbon Ridge schoolhouse, still standing with the original chalkboard in place, a reminder of those gentler days.

We provide either stall or pasture accommodation for your horses or rent horses for guided rides. But, whether you actually do any trail riding or not, you’ll enjoy the pastoral beauty in having our beautiful, gentle animals around. This is a working horse ranch where we breed Missouri Fox trotters.
The cabin sleeps four adults comfortably with a king size bed and a queen size hide-a-bed in the living room. Extra beds are available upon request to bunk a couple of kids on that screened porch. There is an electric hook-up, so you could add a camper
There’s a five-person jacuzzi that’s handicapped accessible (and ADA approved). Unwind while you watch steaks on the grill and identify the evening bird calls. The cabin’s beautiful furnishings complement cherry wood floors and the bedroom is complete with dresser and night stands. The bath has a large shower and vanity and the fully equipped kitchen has all utensils and dishes, electric range and microwave.

About 20 miles from the headwaters of the Buffalo National River and just a couple of miles from the famous Kings River, we are located at the crossroads of the Ozarks and offer easy access to all the pleasures of being out-of-doors and the fun of easy day-trips to Eureka Springs, Branson, Springdale or Fayetteville, most less than an hour away. Yet, we’re wonderfully secluded on a quiet country lane 12 miles southeast of Huntsville.
