| O'hana Hale is located on Ali’i Drive, which is the road which runs along the Blue Pacific of the coast in Kona. There is beach access directly across the street which is a popular area for fishing. In the late afternoon, the Hawaiian Honu (turtle) can be seen feeding on the shoreline rocks.Located a short 2 miles from town, this O'hana Hale is ideally located. Kona town has the resort amenities for your vacation, yet, is quiet and quaint enough so you can relax. You will NOT find row after row of night clubs. You will find Shoreline, eateries, shops and historical points of interest which wind along the Kona Coast. Have a drink as the sun sets, and then dine in the warmth of the evening. |
The large Family Area has a full size futon bed and plenty of seating. There is a desk area with unlimited wireless hookup. If it is just the two of you, it spacious and can accommodate your needs. If it is you and the O'hana it is set up so the whole family can be in this space. The kids can watch TV, while you check you email. It is intimate and spacious too.

The Big Island is the youngest in the chain of Hawaiian Islands. A driving trip around the Island will take you to natural sites not seen anywhere else. The Big Hawaii is rich in culture and beauty. We have waterfalls cascading into pools nestled amidst the natural rain forest. Mauna Kea is the highest point in the US; there is even skiing in the winter! It is also home to the Mauna Kea observatory where there are tours and other educational shows. South Point, the southern most point of the US, is neighbor to Green Sands Beach (put on your hiking boots!). Don’t forget to walk the crater at Volcano National Park or just walk down the street and snorkel at Kahalu’u beach in the turtle sanctuary. This and much more!
If you are inclined to spending your money, you can parasail, or spend the day fishing on one of the many fishing boats. There are helicopter tours, ATV riding into Waipio Valley, horseback riding or hiking tours. You can kayak, shop at the farmers market, or spend the day or week golfing.
Whatever you choose to do, Kailua Kona lends itself well to families and so do we!
