While visiting Timberhill Lodge or Coopers Cabin you will find clean rooms with comfortable accommodations, consisting of air conditioning, stereo, TV and VCR for viewing your favorite movies or keeping track of the local weather. The lodge provides a downright homey environment with its log cabin atmosphere in the middle of 400 acres of wooded land.

The property is privately owned and operated. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. Any damage to the lodge will be charged to the guest. We assume no responsibility for accidents or injuries to guests or their property including loss or damage to personal valuables.

HUNTING
The property offers an excellent opportunity to hunt white-tail deer, wild turkey and other wildlife with proper state permits. Availability of water and cultivated food source and the absences of livestock on or near this 230 acres of privately owned land makes for a hunters paradise. Kansas Parks and Wildlife manages 800 acres minutes from the cabin offering a wider perimeter of hunting. Hunters are requested to provide any of your hunting necessities.

FISHING
The property offers a privately owned 13 acre lake with excellent fishing. Big Hill Lake is only a few miles from the cabin or Lodge offering a verity of species of fish including largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, channel and flathead catfish and walleye.

SWIMMING
Swimming along one of Kansas only sand beaches in clear water with a convenient changing house provided at the Mound Valley entrance.

BOATING
You provide the boat, permit/license and all gear needed. Big Hill Lake is one of the clearest lakes in Kansas. Access to boat through private property but must be tended to daily with boat storage available at the lodge.

Rates

Timberhill Lodge is $150.00 per Night - Up to 6 people. $10.00 for each guest over 6

Coopers Cabin is $75.00 per Night

A 50 percent deposit is required for the entire length of stay when reservations are made, with a minimum of two night stay, the remaining balance is due upon check in. No-shows or guest leaving prior to the departure will be charged for the original reservations unless the lodge is re-booked. Changes to reservations must be made seven days prior to your arrival date. Cancellations received within seven days prior to your arrival date will be subject to a penalty of the full amount of the deposit.
