2 BR cottage direct frontage on quiet 81 acre pond. Remote but close, great base camp for canoeing, kayaking, cyclist, hikers, etc. or just stay here and enjoy the pond. 100 foot lake front, mostly new furnishings, clean and comfortable.
Camp is in good shape and easy to drop in with groceries and bathing suits, but owners live nearby in case of service needs. Pets are negotiable, but carpeted floors and nearby woods may mean it's best to leave Rover at home.
Metcalf Pond is a deep water pond offering terrific swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and small motor boats, (No personal watercraft/jetskis are permitted), and real Vermont solitude with a views of Mt Mansfield and proximity to Stowe, Smugglers Notch, Burlington, and Canada.

What to do in Northern Vermont in Spring, Summer and Fall? A wealth of local activities abound both indoors and out.
First our little camp offers swimming, fishing, canoeing and reading, puzzles, and games. Then there are quiet walks, biking, nearby hiking and all of Vermont's outdoor attractions.
Local towns are rich in shops, yard sales, dining, theatre, churches, music, dancing, farm tours and cultural, etc. Local resorts sponsors weekly activities that are often open to the public.
We are developing an activities guide to leave in the camp, this guide will hold brochures and information on the special activities and events we have collected and leave room for you to add on so those who follow know what you think is special about Metcalf Pond and the surrounding region.
