This home offers you all of the conforts of home plus lots of outdoor activities all year round. Some of these activities include swimming, boating, fishing, hiking ( for all levels of abilities), downhill and cross country sking,snowmobile riding, skating, ice fishing and rock climbing.
There are many special events throughout the year that now include the Lake Placid film festival, ESPN great outdoor games, Olympic trials and the iron man just to mention a few. There are art galleries, museums, movie theaters and live theater. There are many fine resturants throughtout the area. |
Our friendly home offers our guest a relaxing and private vacation. Beautifully appointed windows from every room affords a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding nature from the moment you open your eyes.
A spacious great room with a fireplace is a great spot to spend your evenings relaxing with a glass of wine while the children enjoy the family room off the kitchen with tv, video's and games. A formal dining room brings all together to share the activities of the day and plans for the next day.
For those who enjoy reading our library off the family room serves as a 4th bedroom or a quiet spot to read at the end of the day. There is a full kitchen completely equipped for fine cooking and a laundry room and powder room.
The master bedroom is large and confortable with a queen bed and a private bath. If you are an early riser you will appreciate the morning view from your bedroom of the lake mist or the evening moonlight on the lake.There are two additional bedrooms, one with two twin beds and the other with a double bed and they share a bathroom.
We also have a crib and two child sized futons.
The boat launch is about a mile from the house.
And most of all don't forget the family pet who will loved just being able to be on vacation with the family.
