Welcome to Private Harbor Island, located just 14 miles from Beaufort, SC. This Island offers all the great amenities of the larger Islands without the traffic or extra costs. Our Island is a private gated community. You will have access, AT NO ADDITIONAL COST, to the Harbor Island Raquet Club Pools, Tennis Courts, Fitness Center, Playground, Volley Ball Court and of course the beautiful Pristine Beaches.
This newer 5 bedroom with beautiful views of the marsh, St. Helena Sound and Ocean. The community pool is located steps away, and the beach is only a 4 minute walk away. The Raquet Club is about a 4-5 minute walk away. Everything is so convenient and pristine. The house is fully stocked, and I have 4 adult beach bikes and 1 childs. I also have Boogie Boards, beach chairs, roller blades, beach toys, wagon etc..for your use. I have also supplied the unit with several games.
What to do???? For the Tennis lover, you need to just walk down the street, for the Golf lover, Fripp offers 2 beautiful courses only 4 miles away. You can go on kayak tours, boating, fishing and much more. Hunting Island State Park is adjacent to Harbor Island. They offer trails, beaches, camping and the only lighthouse in S.C. open to the public. I have put together a welcome binder with all the different activities, shopping etc... available. There are 2 restuarant's within 5 minutes of the Island, and of course, some incredible dining in downtown Beaufort. As you drive to the Island, you can stop and pick up fresh Seafood, straight from the ocean. It is the best and very affordable.
If you'd like to go on day trips, you are only 50 minutes from Savannah, 45 minutes from the Hilton Head Outlet Malls, and about 90 minutes from downtown Charleston.
We hope you choose to stay and experience the beauty of our home and Island. Harbor Island is truly the best kept secret in South Carolina.
